This is the first blog posting

I am excited about introducing you to my blog on the website Accounting for Non-Accountants.

If you are out there, join in and introduce yourself to all of us with the same interest which includes all of those non-accountants that have started a business, or are just interested in the topic for their personal lifes.
Let us know which one you are and come have a “cup of tea” with us and share some thoughts.

    Hi, I have recently started a small business of renting out a couple of houses that I own. I know that this is going to entail a lot of knowledge of accounting.

    So I will look forward to sharing ideas with others that have similar needs

    Hello Dr. L,

    I read your book and it is great. I have worked in accounting over 25 years and this book is great for beginners or as a refresher course. I plan on using the book to teach a few students this summer. Thank you.

    Hi Cheryl,

    I am glad to see you out here on our blog.

    I was happy to hear that you enjoyed using the book, and that you found it helpful.

    The second editon is coming out in a few months, with several changes based upon comments of many people like yourself that have used the first edition.

    There is also a study guide that is going to be published with in a month that will have problems, exercises and examples with answers for a practical application of the concepts in the book.

    I have received the same type of e-mail before. These individuals are trying to get you information so they can use or sell your credit card information. It is amazing what people will do.
