Currently I am working a non-accounting position but often find myself thinking, what are these people thinking with some of the decisions they make.
I recently sold a 250k home to a couple that really budgeted for half as much. As they didn’t like the first few homes I showed, I explained about the budget issues. Well, like usual they took it as an insult so I had t back peddle and show some, I love you homes. Well long story short, they liked a 250k home, they pursued financing and by some chance of sheer luck, they were approved. I do wish them luck though…….

William, you are right, how can people make some of the decisions that do make. It seems that was the major reason for the down fall of the economy and beginning of our problems.
Greed, people believing the market would go up for ever (the stock market and the housing market) and greed, and greed.

Sorry it was not fast enough for getting in the FAST part Aquia, but here is the strawberry Martini. A favorite so far is a Strawberry Margarita, but the Martini is good too.

Well, over the past few weeks I have been overwhelmed with reading, kids, and preparing for my husbands deployment. I do need something but I don’t drink. Perhaps you can recommed an alternative Dr. L. I will stop in again when I have more time.

My husband is headed to Iraq for a year. I have 3 girls ages 5, 8, and 11. They keep me very busy. Can’t wait to start working again. Most of the salaries on this post seem to be low. I’m still waiting to receive a rating for a job I applied for two months ago. Financial positions are hard to come by because salaries are alot higher and folks are not leaving those positions. I’m hoping the position I applied for work out as the salary range is between 39 and 87. Well, thanks for the drink, gotta go. I have an outline and homework to complete. Speaking of homework???

Phyllis you can try a shirley temple…it looks like your drinking but its only sprite and cherry artifical mixture (something like that) with a cherry in it.
I tend to feel overwhelmed alot also….BUT NOT TODAY =) (thank GOD) I am usually stressed everyday, but I am not trying to have health issues because of stress related, everyday life. But i do understand.
*screaming* Barkeep!!! what is the drink of the day?? I will have amaretto sour (with desarono (sp?)) I know how to say it, but spelling it *shruggs shoulders*
